Company

Kestrelbank Controls was founded in 2021 by an assurance lead and two platform engineers who had spent years on opposite sides of the same argument about evidence. We are based in Utrecht, Netherlands with a distributed engineering team.

How we work

We build slowly and remove features that do not earn their place. The surface is deliberately small: collection, mapping, service. Requests to become a general workflow tool are declined, because the value of an evidence store is that it is trusted, and trust is easier to keep in a system that does fewer things.

Ownership

The company is majority owned by founders and employees, with a minority holding taken by a European early-stage fund in 2023. We are not raising at present.

Hiring

We hire experienced engineers and assurance practitioners, mostly at senior level. Roles are posted here when they open and we do not work with agencies.
